| Kissimmee Swamp Tours is located just south of
Orlando and Walt Disney World Resort area on Lake Kissimmee.
The Third Largest Lake in Florida Lake Kissimmee is 36,000
acres of undeveloped land. No Houses, No Buildings. Just
wildlife, Swamp and Protected Wetlands and a Federal
Wildlife area.
Located on the Florida Bird Trail, you will see many
species on the endangered species list included, but not
limited to;
- American Bald Eagle
- Whooping Cranes
- Snail Kites
- Many Other Species too
As well as the endangered birds you will also see the
great Florida Alligator and also see wild deer, wild pigs,
turkey and of course hundreds of cattle and horses on one of
the largest working cattle ranches in Florida which is on one
side of the lake. Our airboat rides and tours have many
things to see, but you won't see any houses, development or
congestion.
Comparing Us and Them
While it is very true, a boat is pretty much a boat, what
is different is the surroundings in which you are riding. We
are different because we don't use big "theatre seating"
barges. We use 6 passenger airboats. While it is also true
that airboats are normally loud, unlike the competition, we
use special radio headsets so you can speak directly with
your knowledgeable Captain as he explains what your looking
at while on your airboat tour so you don't miss a thing.
As far as "Close to Disney", well, they got us there. We
can't do anything about that and we certainly are in no big
hurry to move closer. We are the CLOSEST to Walt Disney and
STILL be in a real old Florida swamp. So be sure to compare
what is really important to you on your next airboat
adventure. Looking at the back of the airboat in front of
you , and homes everywhere, or looking at the wildlife.
